Summary
The vitrification method in low-toxic solution based on ethylene glycol, ficoll and sucrose (EFS) was used for cryopreservation of rabbit embryos at 1-cell to morula stage. The results suggest that the EFS solution vitrification method used for rabbit embryos at the 1- and 2-cell stage is a considerable improvement on previous methods, although the efficiency achieved is not fully satisfactory yet.
