A CASE OF BOTULISM DUE TO THE CONSUMPTION OF RAW HAM. ISOLATION OF CLOSTRIDIUM BOTULINUM, SEROTYPE B, IN SAMPLES OF THIS HAM. THIS BACTERIA IS ABLE TO PRODUCE TOXIN AND TO GROW AT TEMPERATURES LOWER THAN 11 deg C. AT 37 DEG C BACTERIAL GROWTH DECREASES CONSIDERABLY.
