Summary
Experimental studies of the thermodynamic properties of heptafluoropropyl methyl ether (HFE-347mcc), which is expected to replace R11, are summarized in the forms of vapour-pressure, saturated and compressed liquid density correlations and a virial equation of state for vapour phase. Enthalpy calculation for the present refrigerant based on the developed models is performed, which enables the cycle performance evaluation with HFE-347mcc for a heat pumping system.
