A generalized correlation for pressure drop across spined pipe in cross-flow.
Author(s) : CARRANZA R. G.
Summary
A set of generalized correlations is presented for pressure drop across spined pipe in cross-flow. Linear regression was employed on 21 different flow geometries; pipe diameter, pipe spacing, and the number of rows were all varied. The equations of correlation were compared with the data of Lockard and Weber (1960); two different flow geometries were used. Results are given.
