A research on controlled atmosphere storage of peach cv. Hale Haven.

Summary

Harvested peach fruits (cv. Halehaven) were stored for one month at 0 deg C under %CO2 - %O2 regimes of 0-21 (control, 5-2, 5-4, 10-2 and 10-4). Quality parameters were measured at intervals during storage. Fruit quality was better in all controlled atmosphere treatments than in the control. The best results were obtained in the 5-2 and 10-2 regimes.
