Summary
From the standpoint of unit performance, the laboratory test results show R404A to be the best alternative refrigerant blend for use in long term and new transport refrigeration applications. Evaluation of extended field trial tests has confirmed this laboratory finding under all refrigeration load temperatures and ambient conditions.
