[In Italian. / En italien.]

Author(s) : LATMIRAL R. P.

Type of article: Article

Summary

Apart from freezing, freeze-drying and ice cream production, the food industry requires heating or refrigeration in the range of about -10 to 130 deg C; it is thus possible to integrate air-conditioning systems into a unique thermal system. The paper surveys the main topics related to this matter; as an example, a heat pump system operating in a brewery, with heat storage on a different level, is illustrated. E.F.
