The Refrigeration and Heat Pump Technology Section of the Danish Technological Institute and Hans T. Haukas AS, Norway, have made this report on assignment from the Nordic Chemical Group. The aim of the work has been to evaluate options and describe viable alternatives to replace HCFCs as refrigerants in new and existing fishing vessels, as an aid to ship owners, refrigeration contractors, shipbuilders and government legislators.
