THE AUTHOR GIVES PRACTICAL ADVICE IN ORDER TO COPE WITH SOME CONSEQUENCES OF NH3 LEAKAGES. THEY ARE MAINLY LEAKAGE INTO THE BRINE AND THE REMEDY IS USING CHEMICALS IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE CORROSION OF THE VARIOUS METALS MAKING UP THE TANKS. HE DEALS WITH THE PHYSICO-CHEMICAL DECONTAMINATION OF THE ATMOSPHERES OF ROOMS WHERE A NH3 LEAKAGE OCCURRED. L.R.
