Summary
The purpose of the paper is to acquire a basic knowledge for the management of the production system on the supply of raw material in marine product processing industry. Each day, the catch of fish as well as the customer's demand are varying greatly. A manager in marine product processing industry needs to take appropriate decisions on the time and the amount of fish to be processed. He also needs to take the suitable time and the amount of fish to be frozen and those of frozen fish to be thawed into consideration. The authors establish a model of a marine product processing industry and present some examples.
