Analysis of two newly developed ice-storage tanks.

Summary

Two ice storage tanks, of a "water on vertical tube" type and an "elliptic-section-unit" type, are analyzed and the heat transfer equations are given respectively with different methods. The results show that the two tanks, specially the latter, exhibit good cool storage and release performances.
