Summary

This paper uses a low GWP and ODP mixture environmental refrigerants (R50, R1150, R290, R600a, N2), to design and optimization thermal throttling single-stage compression cycle system. By using of NIST-REFPROP8.0 property analysis software is to simulate the mixture refrigerants. By thermodynamic analysis and the comparative experimental tests of the two ratios of the main performance parameters of the system (the temperature and pressure of the compressor, the change of temperature in barrel with different ratios), obtained the best ratio N2:R50:R1150:R290:R600a = 32:20:12:20:16, the system can reach the minimum cooling temperature of 170K at 75 minutes, achieved stable operation of environmentally multivariate mixed refrigerants in small cryogenic device.
