Summary

1. TECHNOLOGY AND ECONOMICS OF RAW MATERIAL SERVICES IN OCEANIC PORT FOR FISHING FLEET TYPE . THE AUTHOR PROPOSES A PORT BASE INCLUDING LASH-TYPE BARGES, TRAWLERS AND A MOTHER-SHIP. THIS COMBINATION AIMS TO PRODUCE FROZEN OR DRIED SEAFOODS (SEE PART 2). THE COLD CHAIN AND THE PROTECTION AND HANDLING PROCESSES FOR THE PRODUCTS ARE DETAILED AND THE RELATIVE INVESTMENT COSTS ARE COMPARED TO A STANDARD PORT AND A STRICTLY INDUSTRIAL PORT. THE LATTER HAS A BETTER PAYING EFFICIENCY ; THE COST IS FIVE TIMES LOWER PER KG OF PRODUCT AND THREE TIMES LOWER PER INVESTMENT UNIT. 2. PRODUCTION OF FISH FILLETS, MILK SUBSTITUTING PROTEIN CONCENTRATES, FISH MEAL AND OIL. IN THIS PART, THE AUTHOR STUDIES THE FINAL PRODUCTS: 20 KG FROZEN FISH BLOCKS, FOOD FATS, MILK SUBSTITUTING PROTEIN CONCENTRATES FOR ANIMAL NUTRITION, FISH MEAL WITH HIGH AND LOW PROTEIN CONTENTS AND OTHER PRODUCTS. THE ANNUAL PRODUCTION OF THIS FISHING SYSTEM AMOUNTS TO 84,000 T TS, THE VALUE OF WHICH IS 510,960,000 ZLOTYS.
