THE MAIN DANGER IS WATER, EITHER AS A LIQUID OR AS VAPOUR FROM INCLUSION OF AIR. THESE REFRIGERANTS ARE ONLY MARGINABLY WATER SOLUBLE AND VARIOUS CHEMICAL ACTIONS CAN TAKE PLACE PARTICULARLY ASSOCIATED WITH HEAT AND WITH OIL BY WHICH MATERIALS IN THE SYSTEM ARE ATTACKED.
