Summary

The author describes the automated devices used especially in refrigerated plants for cooling or holding enclosures or products at temperatures between about 15 and -25 or -30 deg C. This equipment is used notably, among other things, to protect perishable chilled or frozen foodstuffs throughout the cold chain.
