Summary

Benchmarking is a structured process for learning from the business of others, internally and externally, who are leaders in a field and with whom legitimate comparison can be made. In fact, benchmarking is the practice of identifying, measuring and comparing key aspects of organizations to establish measures of relative performance, assist in setting new targets and discovering ideas for improvement. This practice is applied here to all actors involved in refrigeration and cold storage of food.
