Summary
Using the postulated mechanism of heat and mass diffusion processes related to boiling of binary liquid mixtures on heated plain and integral-fin tubes, semi-empirical correlations for the calculation of heat-transfer coefficients of binary mixtures have been obtained. The predicted values from the present correlations are in excellent agreement with the experimental data of the paper and those of earlier researchers, which are for different liquid mixtures boiling on surfaces of different characteristics at atmospheric pressure.
