Capillary tube flow: theoretical modelling and flow assessment for CFCs and non-CFCs.
Author(s) : WONG T. N., OOI K. T.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The results reconfirmed that a simple homogeneous flow model may be adequately used to predict the performance of the capillary tube flow. For the same critical tube length, the mass flow rate of CFC-12 is estimated to be at least 15% higher than that of the HFC-134a. All these differences are of course due to the small deviations in the thermophysical properties of the two refrigerants.
