Carnot machine based on solid-gas reactors.

Summary
2-temperature Carnot cycles are analysed through the properties of ammoniates. Obviously, such cycles lead to the Carnot figures of merit, that is COPc for a refrigeration cycle and efficiency for the engine cycle. It is demonstrated that ammonia-based Carnot cycles can be achieved using a chamber closed by a moving piston. From this, a 3-temperature Carnot machine can be studied as the coupling of 2-temperature Carnot cycles. A draft for the required device is then proposed, analysed and sized.
