Chemical heat pump using carbon fabrics as binding and conducting materials.
Author(s) : TOUZAIN P., DELLERO T., MARTIN X., et al.
Summary
The paper deals with heat pumps based on the thermochemical transformer principle. To enter heat transfer, the working pair (for instance nickel, manganese or magnesium chloride, and ammonia) acts in a reactor material composed of impregnated carbon fabrics. Ammonia sorption kinetics, reaction advancement, cycle reversibility and other thermochemical properties were measured and show enhanced results.
