Summary
Nestlé UK has completed a remarkable project at the freeze-dried coffee plant in Hayes, Middlesex. For the first time, certainly in this generation of refrigeration engineers, a large, low-temperature industrial refrigeration system had been commissioned using a cascade between carbon dioxide and ammonia as the working fluids.
