Type of article: Article
Summary
Refrigerated farm milk tanks were converted from R12 to SUVA MP33 blend, 6 of the units had their mineral oil replaced with alka benzene oil, the remainder retained their original mineral oil charge. Oil samples were evaluated over a 17 months period, and little change was recorded. It was concluded that SUVA MP33 is a suitable drop-in replacement as a short to medium term solution. G.R.S.
