Compatibility of processing lubricant with HFC/POEs.
Author(s) : YU X.
Summary
An analysis of system processing lubricants with HFC/POEs is presented. Processing lubricants may be potential residual materials in systems and are frequently overlooked in the open literature on retrofit and new product introduction discussions. If compatibility of these lubricants are not assessed up front in an analysis, potential problems might arise in the field. The paper concludes that six common processing lubricants show no adverse effects on HFCs 407C and 410A with two common POEs. The conclusion applies only to the lubricants tested and cannot be extrapolated to processing lubricants in general.
