Summary

Bags used for frozen foods have been known to become as big as air bags in a freezer. The causes and the effects of this expansion problem have been analysed from a thermodynamic point of view. In this paper, the vapour pressures of soy sauce and salad oil were measured and compared with the sublimation curve of water.
