Summary
An air conditioning simulation program was developed for mixed refrigerant applications. This air conditioning simulation program incorporated the concentration shift calculation models created by Chen and Kruse (1995), enabling it to complete the tasks of simulating performance changes, including predictions on these changes caused by concentration shifts for mixed refrigerant systems. Furthermore, this program was used to predict the concentration shift and associated performance changes for the alternative refrigerant mixtures R407C, R32-R134a and R404A.
