Summary
THE CRITICAL CURRENT DENSITY IN GADOLINIUM-BARIUM-COPPER-OXIDE SUPERCONDUCTING THIN FILMS WAS STUDIED AT VARIOUS TEMPERATURES AND MAGNETIC FIELDS. THE THIN FILMS WERE PREPARED IN SITU ON (100) STRONTIUM/TITANIUM OXIDE(3) SUBSTRATES BY DIRECT CURRENT MAGNETRON SPUTTERING FROM TARGETS OF SINTERED MATERIALS. THE BEST ZERO RESISTANCE TRANSITION TEMPERATURE WAS 91. 5 K AND THE CRITICAL CURRENT DENSITY AT 77 K WAS 3,000,000 A/CM2.
