Summary
A special method of freezing uses liquid nitrogen as a refrigerant. While certainly not inexpensive when compared with other, conventional systems, this technique offers a wide range of benefits. Cryogenic technology will undoubtedly continue to offer solutions to meet the constantly increasing demand for frozen foods.
