Summary

The European Central Asia network of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) held its 7th annual meeting in Yerevan, Armenia. For the first time, national associations of refrigeration and AREA were invited. The meeting focused on the replacement of HCFCs and HFCs and cooperation between ozone focal points, the IIR and national associations. This article is an overview of the use of HFCs and HCFCs.
