Development of small-sized, double effect gas absorption chiller-heater.

Author(s) : FUKUCHI T.

Summary

A compact absorption air-conditioner for residential use has been developed. It is operated by natural gas and needs no HCFCs at all. Field tests were conducted during summer and winter. Although a few problems were discovered, the prototype units were shown to be reliable, and able to withstand practical use. The author hopes to put this new air conditioner into the market in 1997.
