ONE OR TWO PADS IMPREGNATED WITH DIPHENYL WERE PLACED IN THE FIBRE BOARD BOXES OF TANGERINES. THE EFFICIENCY OF THIS FUNGICIDE FOR PREVENTING THE DETERIORATION OF STORED FRUIT WAS EVALUATED IN TERMS OF TEMPERATURE, WITH AND WITHOUT PREVIOUS WASHING OR COATING OF TANGERINES.
