Summary

Freshly harvested pomegranate "Ganesh" fruits were subjected to treatments of wax, wax coupled with carbemdazim (0.1%), captan (0.2%), copper oxychloride (COC) (0.25%) mancozeb (0.2%). These fruits and untreated lot (as control) were kept at room temperature (22.2-24.4 °C with 52 to 82% RH) and in cool chamber (16.14 to 18.22 °C with 85 to 95% RH). Results indicated that fruits treated with wax coupled with carbendazim (0.1%) could be kept up to 48 days in cool chamber as against 30 days at room temperature.
