Summary
Aubergine cv. classic fruits were stored at lower than 10 deg C. Fruits exposed to high temperatures (30 deg C) during their growth and development, were very sensitive to chilling injury, but those exposed to low temperatures (15 deg C) during growth and development, were much less sensitive. Polyethylene bags slowed the appearance of external and internal chilling injury symptoms.
