THE PURPOSE OF THE PAPER IS TO OUTLINE THE ENERGETIC LEVEL REACHED AND THE GLOBAL COP OF THE OVERALL OF REFRIGERATION INSTALLATIONS OF A HYPERMARKET. THE INSTALLATIONS COMPRISE SALES CABINETS, COLD ROOMS AND LABORATORIES. THE REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT IS LINKED TO 2 CENTRAL REFRIGERATING PLANTS, EACH CONSISTING OF 5 AND 3 COMPRESSORS IN PARALLEL, RESPECTIVELY ; THERE IS ALSO A HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM FOR SANITARY WATER. AN AUTOMATIC DEVICE CONTROLLED BY A PRESSURE SWITCH MONITORS EACH INSTALLATION. TESTS ARE PRESENTED ON THE FREQUENCY AND DURATION OF THE OPENING OF THE DOORS OF CLOSED VERTICAL CABINETS OPERATING AT SUBZERO TEMPERATURES.
