Energy savings of ammonia refrigerating plants under part-load conditions by adjusting cooling water systems.

Author(s) : ZHANG J., FAN L., LU Z.

Summary

Two typical industrial refrigerating plants that use ammonia as the refrigerant and two-stage compression are studied. The relationship between cooling water flow rate and energy consumption during part-load operation is investigated by means of computer simulation and experiments.
