DATA, PROVING THAT ENTEROCOCCI IN FROZEN FOOD ARE CONSIDERABLY MORE RESISTANT TO LOW TEMPERATURE THAN E. COLI, WAS OBTAINED. THE HYGIENIC CONDITION OF FROZEN PRECOOKED FOOD IS EVALUATED BY CULTURING WITH ENTEROCOCCI AT VARIOUS STAGES OF PRODUCTION AS WELL AS DURING STORAGE.
