AFTER BRIEFLY SUMMARIZING THE METHODOLOGY AND SHOWING THAT ENERGY COST OF FOODSTUFFS AND FOODSTUFF PRESERVATION INCLUDES NOT ONLY ALL ELEMENTARY COSTS RELATED TO PRODUCTION, BUT ALSO ENERGETIC GENERAL COSTS AND AMORTIZATIONS, THE AUTHORS DELIVER SOME GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT POWER UNITS AND QUICK FREEZING. THEN THEY GIVE A DETAILED ANALYSIS OF QUICK FROZEN PEAS ENERGY COSTS, FROM HUSKING (NOT INCLUDED) TO THE CONSUMER. ENERGY COSTS ARE RECAPITULATED IN A TABLE WHERE PRIMARY ENERGY AND ELECTRIC ENERGY CONSUMPTIONS APPEAR SEPARATELY.
