EVALUATION OF OZONE-SAFE, LOW GREENHOUSE WARMING POTENTIAL ZEOTROPIC REFRIGERANT MIXTURES IN HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATOR-FREEZERS.

Author(s) : TIEDEMANN T., et al.

Summary

ONE APPROACH IS THE USE OF ZEOTROPIC REFRIGERANT MIXTURES IN TWO-EVAPORATOR REFRIGERATORS-FREEZERS. COMPUTER SIMULATIONS AND TEST RESULTS ARE PRESENTED. CALCULATED ENERGY IMPROVEMENTS OF 15% OVER THE ORIGINAL R12 CYCLE COULD BE OBTAINED WITH A R22/R152A/R123 AND A R290/R152A MIXTURE.
