Evaluation of the thermodynamic differential ratios for an ammonia-water vapour mixture.

Summary

The real gas isentropic change is often calculated by use of the ideal isentropic change equations with the isentropic exponent k taken as the local value of the constant pressure to constant volume (Cp/Cv) ratio of the Cp/Cv specific heat of the real gas isentropic change on the basis of the entropy function S= S(p,v,t) and the entropy variation condition shows that three new generalized isentropic exponents exist, which should be used in place of the conventional exponent k= Cp/Cv. Analytical functions are provided for the new exponents.
