Summary

Hemolysine, cytotoxine and exotoxin production by A. hydrophila 3459 in statical culture on TSB medium or on food filter agents (prawn, scallop, fish, pâté, sausage, poultry or lamb, baby foods) stored at 7 deg C was investigated according to the incubation period (3, 5, 8 and 11 days). Addition of UHT milk to the exotoxin-containing broth reduced hemolytic and cytotoxic activities.
