Number: pap. ID: 219

Author(s) : JIANG K., LIU Y., WANG F., et al.

Summary

The experimental study presented in this article was aimed at investigating the running performance of a heat pump water heater (HPWH) under various mass charges of the refrigerant and ambient temperatures in which the substitute refrigerant R417A was utilized as a working medium. The performance of the HPWH was analyzed under different charge masses, and the importance of the amount of refrigerant to the performance improvement was reflected in those experiments. The experiments were also carried out under different work conditions, and according to the results, the performance of the plant was analyzed in detail.
