Summary
Quality assurance may be the most important aspect of the cold chain when it comes to refrigerated foods. A broken link in the chain could lead to spoiled product and mass food poisoning, followed by huge financial losses and a loss of public faith in the product and company concerned. Australian industry is looking to safeguard the integrity of its food supply chains, through state of the art cold chain technology that minimises the possibility of an error occurring somewhere along the line.
