Summary
Zeotropic blends are difficult to use, even with a temperature glide of only about 5 K. Shell-and-tube condensers are, from the energy point of view, unsuitable for R407C. Large heat-transfer surfaces are necessary. Energy use is greater with R407C than with R22.
