Summary

PROCESS AND DEVICE FOR REMOVING HEAT FROM AN INSULATED CONTAINER BY USING DRY ICE AND CIRCULATING A REFRIGERANT THROUGH A PIPE SYSTEM. ACCORDING TO THE STRUCTURE OR THE AMOUNT TO BE COOLED, THE PRINCIPLE APPLIED IS THAT OF THE THERMOSIPHON OR OF EVAPORATION WITH NATURAL CIRCULATION. HEAT TRANSFER SYSTEMS ARE DESIGNED FOR COOLING THE ROOM, EVEN WHEN THE INSULATED CONTAINER IS INCLINED, EG DURING THE TAKEOFF OF AN AIRCRAFT.
