Gas cooling in the United States.
[In German. / En allemand.]
Author(s) : HESSE U.
Type of article: Article
Summary
There are two main types of gas-cooling machines: gas-motor-driven units, in most cases using natural gas, and gas-fitted sorption systems. The latter include closed absorption and adsorption systems for water chillers and household heat pumps, on the one hand, and desiccant-cooling systems, on the other. Each application is described and concrete examples are cited.
