Summary

In this article, the authors distinguish between legislation, standards and instructions. They also deal with fast cooling. Standards-directives-regulations-laws-decrees-ministerial orders-manuals-guidelines. "Spot the term that doesn't apply" would be a good quiz question (the answer being: standards, manuals, guidelines: these are what we should follow; the rest is part of legislation). Better definitions of concepts would help us gain a better understanding.
