ICE PRODUCTION WITH A JET PUMP MACHINE USING SOLAR ENERGY.

PRODUCTION DE GLACE GRACE A UNE MACHINE A EJECTO-COMPRESSION ALIMENTEE PAR L'ENERGIE SOLAIRE.

Summary

THE PRESENT STUDY DEMONSTRATES THE FEASIBILITY OF ICE PRODUCTION BY MEANS OF A SYSTEM BASED ON THE HALOGENATED HYDROCARBON JET PUMP PRINCIPLE USING R11 AS THE WORKING FLUID. PREVIOUS EXPERIMENTS HAVE SHOWN THAT THE SYSTEM CAN BE POWERED BY SOLAR ENERGY, SINCE THE WORKING TEMPERATURES ARE BETWEEN 343 AND 363 K (70 AND 90 DEG C). THE AUTHORS PRESENT A THEORETICAL STUDY, AND A MATHEMATICAL MODEL, IN WHICH THEY ANALYZE THE APPLICATION OF THIS SYSTEM IN THE EXTREME RANGE OF MEXICAN CLIMATES.
