THE HYBRID SYSTEM MADE UP OF A JET CYCLE FOR COOLING AND A COMPRESSION HEAT PUMP FOR HEATING COUPLED TO THE CONDENSER AND THE EVAPORATOR OF THESE SUB-SYSTEMS, RESPECTIVELY, IS SIMULATED BY A COMPUTER. THE REFRIGERANTS CONSIDERED ARE R11, R12, R12B1, R113 AND R114 ON THE JET CYCLE AND R11, R21 AND R12B1 ON THE COMPRESSION HEAT PUMP. PRIOR TO THE SELECTION OF SUITABLE FLUIDS, PRACTICAL ASPECTS SHOULD BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT. THE R12-R11 COUPLE SEEMS TO BE ADVANTAGEOUS.
