Summary
Ice-cream bars and quick-frozen yogurts are irradiated with cobalt 60 at 40 kilograys. Four ice creams of different aromas are prepared aseptically. The study shows that a milky, vanilla-flavoured and quick-frozen beverage and aseptically-prepared chocolate ice cream are very well accepted by patients. These products are considered of good sensorial quality for healthy people.
