Summary

THE PAPER DEALS WITH THE THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF LAMINAR FORCED CONVECTION CONDENSATION OF BINARY MIXTURES ON A FLAT PLATE. SIMILARITY SOLUTIONS FOR 7 KINDS OF BINARY MIXTURES OF ETHANOL-WATER, R22-R114, R114-R11, AIR-WATER, AIR-ETHANOL, AIR-R22, AIR-R114 ALONG WITH SEVERAL PSEUDOMIXTURES OF LOW SCHMIDT RATIO ARE NUMERICALLY OBTAINED. TWO EXPRESSIONS AMONG THE BOUNDARY VALUES AT THE VAPOUR-LIQUID INTERFACE CONCERNING HEAT AND MASS FLUXES THROUGH THE VAPOUR BOUNDARY LAYER ARE NEWLY PROPOSED. THE HEAT AND MASS FLUXES CALCULATED AGREE WITH THOSE FROM THE SIMILARITY SOLUTIONS WITHIN 1-3% ERROR. (JSME INT. J., JP., 30, N 268, 1987/10, 1687.
