Summary

Out of 326 samples, coming from food shops and restaurants in Budapest, 12% proved to be contaminated by Listeria monocytogenes. Among the food products investigated 39.1% of raw meat products, 15.2% of heat-treated meat products, 13.6% of confectioner's and sweets industrial products, 5.5% of buffet meals and 3% of milk product proved to be positive.
